News and Magazine: Writing and Editing

As a part of the Voice of OC Youth Media program, I had the opportunity to work as an editor for various published articles written by students at Chapman University. Here, I would work closely with students, workshopping ideas for new stories and guiding them through their process of reporting and writing. I also had a hand in creating infographic and video stories that were also published on Voice of OC.

During my spring semester of my senior year at Chapman, I wrote for and was in charge of the art published in Chapman University’s official online magazine. The position required news reporting and writing skills as well as creating art, both hand drawn and photographed, for each story.
